With the election behind us, we now face an equally important challenge: responding as ambassadors for Christ. Many of us find ourselves surrounded by friends, family and colleagues who may be celebrating, deeply frustrated or even mourning the results of this election. In times like these, our actions and words matter more than ever.
While we care about our country, we must remember that as Christians, we are ultimately citizens of a different kingdom; a kingdom defined not by elections or political parties, but by the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. This eternal perspective calls us to live in a way that reflects His love, regardless of election outcomes.
