On September 4th, Mother Teresa of Calcutta will become a Catholic saint. In 1950, she created the Missionaries of Charity, a religious order of sisters who care for the poorest of the poor around the world. But during her lifetime, few people knew that Mother Teresa suffered from a deep spiritual darkness and wrote, â??The place of God in my soul is blank.â? Correspondent Deborah Potter visits the Missionaries of Charity in Miami and talks about Mother Teresa with Jim Towey, president of Ave Maria University and a personal friend of Mother Teresa, and with Rev. James Martin, SJ, author of My Life with the Saints. Says Martin, â??She is a saint for doubters and seekers and people who wonder where God is in their lives.â?
