Can Government Lead a Religious Revival?

Gallup released its annual findings on Americans’ religious views earlier this month, finding that America’s fastest-growing religion, the “nones,” grew again in 2025, from 22% of adults in 2024 to 24% in 2025. Every other religion declined in 2025, including “Protestant/Nondenominational Christian” from 46% to 44%, Catholic from 21% to 20%, and “other” from 10% to 9%.
