Most people understand that Chatbots like Gemini or ChatGPT trawl the internet to answer questions. But for years, founders and coders have also been working on something else: A.I. agents. These are autonomous bots that, like a really good assistant, can do things for you without much oversight. They can check you into a flight, make a restaurant reservation or reorganize your calendar.
