The Philosophy of Jacques Maritain
Jason L. A. West has done the English-reading world a remarkable service with his new and long-overdue to the thought of Jacques Maritain. It is long overdue because Maritain is one of the most important figures of the twentieth century, and with reactionary movements growing in Catholic circles, which themselves respond to radical trends in the secular world, he remains as relevant today as he was sixty years ago. This is especially so in Catholic moral philosophy and politics.
