Catholics across America are starting 2025 off strong. Not only are we celebrating a Jubilee Year, but our nation has also ushered in a new era of leadership during the year we will celebrate our 250th anniversary as a nation.
As we reflect on this special year, many of us feel a palpable sense of hope.
The 20th annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast could not come at a better time. In just a few weeks, Catholic leaders and laity will gather in Washington, D.C., to pray for the future of our country. This year's theme, “Hope,” perfectly encapsulates the moment, and the collective sentiment of the Catholic leaders who daily fight to promote human flourishing across America.
This year more than ever, Catholic leaders must unify and channel this hope into tangible actions that protect religious freedom, human dignity and life, and to spread the joys of the Catholic faith.
