Food for Thought for the Anti-Zionists

The popular Brooklyn restaurant Miriam, which serves Israeli food, was vandalized over the weekend by anti-Semitic agitators who painted “Genocide Cuisine” and “Israel Steals Culture” on the windows and threw blood-red paint on the doorstep.

Even New York City’s progressives immediately and loudly denounced the vandalism, which incensed Nerdeen Kiswani—leader of an anti-Semitic group that commits and encourages street violence against Jews.

“So you cherish zionist (sic) restaurants that profit off of appropriated food?” Kiswani angrily posted in response to anti-Israel Councilwoman Shahana Hanif’s refusal to sanction such attacks on her constituents, despite her ideological affinity for the movement out of which Kiswani sprung.
