Black, Secular, And Alone: How Religion Impacts Black Professionals

There’s a topic that very few media outlets cover, especially when it comes to African-American people developing professional relationships. It’s Black secularism, and it’s deeply frowned upon in many Black spaces (even when it comes to networking). That’s because so many African-American people identify as Christian. It’s important to note that Christianity has been used as a means of survival for Black people for a very long time.
