Almost All Christians Fled Southern Lebanon Amid Bombing

About 90% of those living in southern Lebanon’s Christian villages have fled their homes amid the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, according to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), a Christian advocacy organization overseen by the Catholic Church. Hezbollah, the Iran-backed Shia militant group in Lebanon, began attacking Israel at the Israeli-Lebanese border following the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza in October.
