'The Chosen' and the Second Commandment

In 2017, an historical drama series entitled The Chosen was released. It purports itself to follow the life and ministry of Jesus and, at present, there are plans for 7 seasons to complete the work. There have been multiple media outlets, religious leaders, and well-known personalities who have sung the proverbial praises of the series.
