Remember the Political Contributions of the Reformation

For Christians, October 31 marks not Halloween, but the beginning of the Reformation. It was on that date in 1517 that Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg. Those theses jumpstarted broad reactions against church abuses and opposition to certain doctrines of the time, culminating in the formation of a distinct set of churches.
