Former George W. Bush speechwriter and Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson has identified as an evangelical and frequently writes from a faith perspective. As a Christian, he often chides, with frequent justification, conservative political Christian activism for moral failure. He has moved leftward politically and, evidently, theologically.
