A Reflection on Sacrifice

To characterize this as a book review would be unbecoming of the nature of the content. Rather, Shaykh Tameem Ahmadi's commentary on 67 select ahadith in Sacrifice: The Legacy of Our Beloved Prophet necessitates reflection, especially so in this month of Rabi' al-Awwal, the month in which Allah sent the Prophet as a favor for mankind: "Indeed, Allah has done the believers a [great] favour by raising a messenger from among them -- reciting to them His revelations, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom. For indeed they had previously been clearly astray." [Qur'an 3:164]
