A Rabbi Walks Into a Presbyterian Church

I am a full-time pulpit rabbi serving a Conservative synagogue in Santa Monica, Calif. This year I also am periodically teaching, counseling and preaching to Christians as a pastoral associate at Brentwood Presbyterian Church. This may seem like a strange arrangement, but it has been fruitful for both congregations. Rather than trying to convert each other, we’re finding ways to enrich our own faiths together.
