An ocean away from the United States, Oxford University senior research fellow N.T. Wright, one of today’s most prominent biblical scholars, has a significant following among many American Christians. Christianity Today magazine has said that Wright could be “the most important apologist for the Christian faith since C.S. Lewis.”

And Wright had some thoughts on why the “war on Christmas” just doesn’t really resonate in Britain. The following interview has been edited for length and clarity.
