Stop Erasing the Jewish Victims of Anti-Semitic Violence

The mass shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue on Oct. 27 was the deadliest attack on Jewish Americans in history. We must be clear-headed about the nature of this attack. This was not only a shooting. This was not only an act of hate. This was not only an act of violence. This was a direct attack on the entire Jewish community, designed to make us cower in fear and abandon our places of worship. This was the culmination (for now) of years of rising threats to our community. It is the deadliest attack on a Jewish community in American history.
