Prominent LDS Speaker Calls on Church to Address Racism

A prominent African American LDS speaker is calling on the church to address issues of racism.


In an open letter, Darius Gray challenges members of the faith to look at attitudes and actions that perpetuate racism.

“Nothing could be further from the teachings of Jesus Christ than for any human being to think of himself or herself as somehow superior to another human being based upon race, sex, nationality,” Gray said in the letter.
