How Nashville's Interfaith Culture Has Grown

When Ossama Bahloul, imam of the Islamic Center of Nashville, broke the fast of Ramadan one night earlier this summer, he invited three pastors of local Presbyterian churches to share the meal.

Months later, more than 50 people gathered in the sanctuary of Trinity Presbyterian Church on a recent Sunday afternoon to extend the conversation, questioning Bahloul and two Presbyterians about Islam and Christianity.
