Will Netanyahu Seize the Chance for Peace?

I came to Israel this year to study the effects of the 1967 war and its aftermath on modern Jewish identity. I left a bit wiser about the influence of 2005 on contemporary Israeli politics.

On Aug. 15, 2005, after more than a year of parliamentary maneuvering and debate, then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon initiated the removal of 21 Israeli settlements from the Gaza Strip.
