Was Grand Canyon Project Rejected Because of Creationism?

Creationist Andrew Snelling wants to collect rocks in Grand Canyon to help prove his Bible-based worldview of a 10,000-year-old Earth, but the National Park Service rejected his proposal. He sued the government this week in federal court with the help of the Scottsdale-based Alliance Defending Freedom.
