Despite growing hostilities in the Democratic Party after Hillary Clinton's surprising loss to Donald Trump, perhaps the greater hostility is one that is forming within a niche of the Republican Party: evangelicals.

By contrast, Trump received only 29% of the Asian vote, 29% of the Hispanic/Latino vote, and 8% of the Black vote. What is it that white evangelicals saw that these other groups did not see?
