In remembering our American values, Iâ??m reminded of President George W. Bushâ??s address on Sept. 12, 2001. He ended it by saying, â??None of us will ever forget this day, yet we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world.â?
If we sacrifice our religious freedoms at the altar of making people feel comfortable and safe, that sacrifice wonâ??t be touched by Godâ??s favor and replaced by a lamb. Instead, weâ??ll have a hollow corpse of the American dream.
