Church buildings speak—not in an audible voice, but in a way that communicates to others something about your church. You can tell a lot about what is important to a church by their facilities.
Randall Coy, director of development at Visioneering Studios, says churches should think about what their facilities say. “When a family new to the area drives by, what do your facilities tell them in those few seconds?” he asks. Church buildings tell a story, he says, and the job of church architects and designers is to make sure those buildings are telling the truth.
