Was the Last Supper a Passover Seder?

Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday is a time when Christians believe Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with his disciples, breaking bread and wine with them for the last time before his Crucifixion on Good Friday. Recently, it has become a practice in some Christian churches and homes to hold a “Christian seder” on this night, adapting to a Christian context rituals and practices from the Jewish Passover meal.
