"Silent Night," Time magazine determined after spelunking through records at the U.S. Copyright Office, is "the most recorded Christmas song in the modern era."
Time has done a dandy job representing the success of the Christmas canon in cloud form and even color coded the songs according to "more Jesus" (red) and "more Santa" (green). Other standards include "Oh Holy Night"; "White Christmas"; and of course "Away in a Manger."
