Why We Can't Live in John Lennon's World

The title refers to a tweet posted by Charlie Hebdo's Joann Sfar two days after atrocity returned to Paris in the guise of Koranic justice. To wit, prayers may be better than bullets, but they're drawn from the same well, so keep them to yourselves!

Sfar's words could be mistaken for a verse from John Lennon's "Imagine," and in the early wake of the slaughter, that song seemed to speak for many in Paris, and the wider West beyond.
