Reform Jews Pass Tranny Resolution

Reform Jewish leaders Thursday formally affirmed transgender rights in a decision that will steer congregations and advocacy efforts in the nation's largest movement of Judaism.

The resolution on transgender and gender-nonconforming people was uncontested at the Union for Reform Judaism convention in Orlando, and its passage was hailed with cheers and a standing ovation by the audience of roughly 5,000.
