Throughout the last three years of hard work in the repair and restoration of our beloved and historic St. Patrickâ??s Cathedral, Iâ??ve come to have a lot of admiration for our craftsmen and women, who are true artisans in this delicate job.
One day, walking around inspecting the progress, I asked one of them, â??Whatâ??s your specific job?â? and he replied, â??Iâ??m doing the tuck pointing.â? When I inquired of another, she answered, â??Iâ??m doing the re-wiring.â?
