The Most Protestant Cities in America

In Nashville, Tennessee, 38 percent of the population identifies as white evangelical Protestant, 17 percent of residents identify as white mainline Protestant, 12 percent of the population is made up of black Protestants, one percent is Hispanic Protestant and another one percent is made up of non-white Protestants that don't fit into any of the above groups. With 69 percent of its population identified with Protestantism, Nashville tops the list of most Protestant U.S. cities.
