Evangelicals Pick Top Books

As summer arrives so do the endless book lists aimed at those who seem to have a surplus of free time.

The New York Times recently released its rundown of the best books to read this summer. USA Today has its 25 picks. Even J.P. Morgan developed a reading list to keep up with its intellectually savvy customers in the summer months. The Huffington Post has taken a more relaxed route, targeting the female love of beach reading. Southern Baptist leader Al Mohler gave readers of his blog a list of quality reading "for summertime or anytime," challenging them to make their own list of beloved books by summer's end.
