A nonprofit organization focused on serving abused children is rebranding itself. At the Texas State Capitol on Thursday, Lutheran Social Services of the South (LSS) unveiled their new name: Upbring. While the agency has a new business model, the mission stays the same: to break the cycle of child abuse by empowering children, families and communities.
“We can have an impact on children through education, vocation, life skills, health and safety in order to enhance the childs’ lives and break the cycle of child abuse,” said Upbring CEO, Dr. Kurt Senske.
