As Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, Archbishop Bernardito Auza spoke Monday of hope amidst growing religious persecution and the common values that have strengthened the bonds between the Roman Catholic Church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Archbishop was the keynote speaker at the 2015 Mormon Studies Conference -- “Mormons and Catholics: from the Margins to the Mainstream” and the Center for Constitutional Studies Symposium on Religious Freedom at Utah Valley University.
