Rich Millar is featured in the latest â??His Graceâ? video, created by the Mormon Channel. Millar originally posted his experience in a Facebook post, â??How I Lost and Regained My Faith,â? published on July 15, 2014. Millar, who served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prior to falling away from the church, says that shortly after he created the post he was contacted by the LDS Church and asked to share his story in a video.
â??Iâ??ve learned over the first 32 years of my life that everyone experiences setbacks and makes mistakes,â? Millar wrote in his post. â??And it can be destructive to go through life pretending thatâ??s not the case. Iâ??ve also learned that a lot of heartache can be avoided if we will learn from othersâ?? mistakes. With that in mind, Iâ??d like to offer up some of my mistakes and what Iâ??ve learned from them in hopes that it will help someone else avoid the pitfalls and pain I experienced.â?
