I spend a lot of time in internet discussions with unbelievers. My discussions tend to be long and involved. The best of these discussions are respectful and thoughtful. One thing that I am convinced of is that when thoughtful people discuss these issues, the Christian view of things is persuasive and intellectually satisfying.
Donâ??t believe me? Check out this debate between Christian, William Lane Craig, and the late New Atheism leader, Christopher Hitchens. It is one of the most one sided debates I have seen (with Craig making his case convincingly). Or check out this debate between Oxford scholar and Christian apologist, John Lennox, and New Atheism hero, Richard Dawkins. It is another example of a Christian taking on a big named atheist and winning easily. And here is Craig again, this time picking apart Sam Harris in another one sided debate. Or you could watch this discussion with Pastor Tim Keller making the case for Christianity on one of the most liberal campuses in the US and making a pretty overwhelming case.
