Scrolling down my Facebook homepage recently, some photos jumped out at me. My cousin, Paige Dinger and her husband, Daniel, recently took a trip to Africa to visit her parentsâ??my aunt and uncleâ??who are serving a Church Public Affairs mission in Uganda. For the past week, Iâ??ve checked my cousinsâ?? posts to see photos and learn of the amazing experiences they are having on tours to the savanna as well as doing humanitarian work with the people.
After seeing Paige and Danâ??s touching pictures and reading of their life-changing experiences, it turned my thoughts to Africa and got me wondering how our Church is doing there, especially with the Ebola virus looming over the continent. Paige reported that no one is worried about the Ebola virus in Uganda as it is in eastern Africa and is thousands of miles away from the epicenter of the virus.
