They come into the church from the side entrance and search for their name tags on the two white boards propped up against a pew. There are more name tags than there are members because in a church this small, even visitors get name tags.
In a church of 50 members, everybody knows everybody so the nametags are more of a formality than a necessity. But each name tag has the first name in large letters, dwarfing the last name, because this is a church on a first-name basis: Guy, Cheri, Mary, Jim, Dawn, Ginny, Lynn, Mike, William, Londra.
