Religion today is not only the joker in the pack; it threatens to become the terrifyingly laughing exception that can distort and dominate the whole game in Gotham.
At least, that is how things could confusingly appear if one adopts a typical liberal perspective. Yet this perspective may be inadequate for understanding our current reality and inadequate for the future preservation of liberty, tolerance and cooperation in the United Kingdom.
