With the resurrection of the Left Behind movie, wild speculation about blood-red lunar eclipses, and the various flareups in the Middle East, particularly Israel, there’s renewed attention among Christians regarding the end times.
The unquestioning support for Israel among evangelicals in particular stems directly from their take on the last days and the restoration of the nation, which they see as occurring in 1948.
