America’s war on drugs is slowly winding down. Two states, my own Washington and that mile “high” state Colorado, have opted for full legalization, regulation and of course taxation of marijuana. Other states are considering legalization, including Texas.
The Obama administration pledged not to stand in the way of these efforts, prompting some protests from the nation’s drug cops. In fact, the White House and Justice Department have done one better by launching “Clemency Project 2014.”
