What is a ‘true’ Christian? There are people today who think they are Christians, but they are not. There are unbelievers who point to the bad behavior of some who claim to be Christians and say, “See, they behave worse than us, why would I want to be like them?” Both of these attitudes are based on a faulty understanding of what it means to be a Christian. Although this article will not be an exhaustive look at the attributes of a Christian, it is meant to motivate one to evaluate, or re-evaluate, one’s life to see if he or she truly understands what it means to make Jesus the Lord of one’s life.
