The pastor sports a T-shirt and tattoos. People of all ages and socio-economic statuses come to services dressed in casual clothes.
"We try to be genuine with who we are. We look incredibly normal. You're going to be accepted as you are," said Pastor Carl Lentz of the Hillsong Church of New York City.
