Cheerleaders at a Texas middle school have gotten a reprieve. After being told they were no longer allowed to use Bible verses on banners at football games, a judge granted a temporary restraining order against the school district that had banned the practice, according to the Huffington Post.
On Thursday, a Hardin County, Texas, judge ordered the Kountze Independent School District to cease and desist from prohibiting cheerleaders from displaying large banners with Bible verses at sporting events, at least until a hearing on the matter next week.
