Daljit Pannu is a retired major in the Indian army. But when the South Florida resident heard on Sunday of the shootings of fellow Sikhs in Wisconsin, he found it hard to grasp at first.
Perhaps it was worse because he was in the Sikh temple in southwest Broward – a house of worship, like the one where six believers were shot dead in Oak Creek, Wisc.
