Washington, D.C.'s March for Life over the weekend served as grim reminder that we're coming up on 40 years since the Supreme Court made abortion-on-demand the law in all 50 states. The death toll has been somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 million unborn; well, it's hard to know what to call them exactly. Pro-lifers prefer children or babies. Pro-choicers prefer more clinical terms such as fetus or zygote, to take the sting off it. No mother ever speaks of holding a zygote in her arms. Worse, these are not 50 million dead that otherwise would have been born.
