As he approaches his 58th birthday and the publication of a collection of his major post-revolution speeches, Czech President Vaclav Havel appears to have concluded that the only way for the world to solve the crises it faces -- from environmental destruction to nationalist wars -- is for humanity to rekindle its relationship with God.
