Monday morning, Wayne Hanson, 42, was an ordinary pastor at Summit Church in Castle Rock, but less than 48 hours after he talked to the tabloid website TMZ he has been portrayed as everything from Tim Tebow's personal pastor to a spokesman for evangelicals across the country. But Hanson said the TMZ posting, which has gone viral through social media, is misleading and some of it is just outright inaccurate. For starters, he is not Tim Tebow's pastor. He has met the Broncos' quarterback and visited his home, but Tebow has never attended his church. And for good measure - no, Hanson does not believe God is choosing the Broncos over opponents because of Tebow's presence on the field.
