On September 17, 1787 thirty-nine men “by the Unanimous Consent” signed their names to our Constitution. There are about 4,500 words in the document. I suppose an average reader could get through it in about an hour. Getting through it may be a good first step. But studying it and learning the language and the law of the land would be a worthwhile goal.
