Don't Blame Religion for September 11

In a program that has come under suspicion of promoting an aggressively secularizing agenda, New York City's commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks will not include a religious contribution.

Chicago more than made up for that with a vigil service in Daley Plaza Saturday evening before the anniversary hosted by The Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago, in cooperation with the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago.
