I started thinking about heaven after I recalled someone saying they wouldn’t ever want to go. This person’s idea of heaven was vast nothingness, where a soul would float around aimlessly. “How boring”, this person thinks. I agree, how boring. I would never want to live my life in eternal nothingness just floating around aimlessly. But is that really what heaven is like? Do we just float around enjoying the lifted restrictions of gravity? I don’t think so, and neither does the church.
