ABILENE, Texas -- By the time Eve showed up, Adam already had the world sorted out.
He had a green thumb, having completed the good Lord's Master Gardener program. He knew tons about zoology, having named all of the animals all by himself. He was not just a farmer but a rancher, having figured out which animals were livestock, if you believe Genesis 2:20. Well, maybe he made a mistake or two, but God would have been there to set him straight ("No, Adam, trust me; wolverines are not livestock").
